Update 10.06.2020

Dear Customer

We hope this mail still finds you and your family safe & well since we last were in touch. Over the past few weeks there have been many unimaginable challenges to overcome in both our personal and work environments and the fact that we are all in this together makes it all that much easier to comprehend and adapt to the challenges we face.

We want to say a big thank you to all our customers for your flexibility and your understanding to ensure that the supply chain is maintained. Lynx continues to be a key delivery partner for PPE to hospitals & care homes along with being a delivery agent to all those businesses who have remained open and those that have reopened recently.

The Government has now issued a “Return to Work Protocol” which is a document they have constructed along with the Health Services Executive (HSE) Health & Safety Authority (HAS) & the Dept of Health.

The document places a heavy emphasis on a shared approach between employers and workers to prevent the spread of Covid 19. To date we at Lynx have already taken some practical measures such as

  • Paperless & Contactless Deliveries
  • Online Track and Trace for Customers
  • Social Distancing
  • Reduction in site visits
  • Provision of individual hand sanitizer & wipes for all staff members
  • Provision of disposable gloves & masks
  • Contactless driver debriefing
  • New Signage
  • Increased daily cleaning routines
  • New office layouts

The reality is that we will live with Covid 19 until such a time as a vaccine is discovered. As the economy begins to open up and as we move through the stages of the Governments road map, we will be guided by their teams of experts as to how we approach life living alongside Covid-19 and will continue to keep you all updated.
